CKCU: Episode 96 - Brandon Wint Revisted - This Is Nowhere

Today we re going back into the vault to revisit an interview from May of 2021 with an incredible poet and true artist Brandon Wint! The incomparable Brandon Wint is a poet, writer and performer of extraordinary vision and skill. His unique way of imparting power and gentle strength, love and humour with words alone is quite astonishing. They leap off the page but do not attack with blunt force. His performances demand attention while the mellifluousness of his voice takes you to a far away place of peace, sheltering you from the trauma and pain and raw emotion that is invoked by the prose. Jordan and I were thrilled to have a chance to speak to him about his process and his lifelong pursuit of an artistic life. Jordan also takes us to a classic Ottawa haunt on another edition of Jordy s Field Trip! Find Brandon s work here: http://brandonwint.com/ https://brandonwint.bandcamp.com/ ....
