3-alarm fire destroys building at Shelton s Sanderson Field KOMO News Staff © Provided by KOMO-TV Seattle SHELTON, Wash. A massive fire destroyed a large manufacturing building at the Port of Shelton Tuesday evening. The building s fire alarm alerted Mason County Fire District 11 firefighters to the blaze just after 9 p.m., according to department spokesperson Brandon Searles. Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting from the roof and called for additional help, summoning additional firefighters from a dozen nearby agencies, Searles said. Crews focused on preventing the fire from spreading and were successful in keeping damage limited to the original building. No injuries were reported.
