As they have most saturdays, volunteers scoured morgan hill fields looking for any sign of sierra lamar. Christian hartnett has the story. We are taking the north end of the island. Reporter dozens of volunteers looked for any sign of missing seen sierra lamar. The searches have taken place almost every saturday since her disappearance on march 16, 2012. They have put in almost 60,000 hours looking for her family, but this is it. They are making the decision to end the search. We are exhausting our inventory of search areas. Reporter volunteers from all over have lent a helping hand. For all the volunteers, it has taught them a valuable life lesson. People who dont know one another have come to look for a missing girl.
