Clemson Shuts Out No. 21 Louisville, 4-0

Clemson, S.C. - Clemson’s Ousmane Sylla scored two goals on the night to lead the Tigers shut out 21st-ranked Louisville, 4-0, on Friday at Historic Riggs Field. All four of the Tigers' goals game in the second half and Sylla's brace was the second of his career  The Tigers battled through an aggressive Louisville team, as the Cardinals received two yellow cards and a red card on the night. After a scoreless first half, the Tigers came into the second half firing, putting up four goals and 31 shots to just five shots for Louisville.  Sylla got the Tigers going, netting the first goal of the night in the 53rd' to the bottom right corner, assisted by Nathan Richmond. Clemson Earns Comeback Win at USF

Tampa, Fla. – Isaiah Easley corralled a ball from Gael Gibert and fired the game winner off the left post and into the net in the 79’ and Clemson United rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit to down USF, 3-2, on Tuesday evening. The win moves the Tigers to 2-2-1 on the year, while the loss drops the bulls to 1-3-0. Clemson took eight shots to USF’s six, including seven on goal. Joseph Andema added another save to his season total and the Tigers were awarded seven corner kicks on the night.  In the 67’, Joran Gerbet flicked a free kick from Ousmane Sylla past a diving keeper for the equalizing header goal and his second goal of the season. Just three and a half minutes later, Brandon Parrish put the Tigers ahead on a beautiful free kick that sailed over the defenders’ heads and into the top corner of the net. Clemson Shuts Out Presbyterian College, 6-0

CLEMSON, S.C. - Behind graduate Mohamed Seye’s first-career hat trick, and additional goals from Nathan Richmond, Pape Mar Boye and Jackson Wrobel, the Clemson United Men’s Soccer program shut out Presbyterian on Tuesday night at Historic Riggs Field, 6-0.In total, the Tigers outshot the Blue Hose, 21-5, with 11 of Clemson’s shots being on goal. Eleven different Tigers got a shot off, including four on goal from Seye. On the defensive side, sophomore Joseph Andema started in goal and clocked one save before being replaced by Logan Brown with 25 minutes remaining in the match.The Tigers opened the scoring in the 15th minute. On a play that started with the Tigers attacking the left side of the field, a reversal back to midfield opened up the field to allow a cross pass to find Nathan Richmond just outside the 18-yard box. Clemson Drops Season Opener to UCF

Clemson, S.C. – The ninth-ranked Clemson Tigers dropped the 2023 season opener, 2-1, to the UCF Knights at Historic Riggs Field on Thursday night in front of a crowd of 4,090. UCF’s Emmanuel Bam netted the game-winner in the game’s 68’ to give the Knights the victory. Clemson’s Joseph Andema made three saves on UCF’s five shots on goal on the night. The Tigers recorded three shots on goal, including two by Brandon Parrish, and were whistled for 26 fouls to UCF’s 10.  Ousmane Sylla opened the scoring for the Tigers with a penalty kick in the game’s first minute, the second fastest goal in program history (0:25).
