Share Updated: 5:01 AM MDT Jul 9, 2021 An Amber Alert for two children on the Navajo Nation is over.Around 2 a.m. Friday, search and rescue crews found 3-month-old Braidin Begay and 16-month-old Bailey Begay south of Dolores, Colorado. The children were safe and reunited with their mother and family in Cortez, Colorado.Their father, 35-year-old Brandon Begay was arrested without incident.Navajo Police issued the Amber Alert Thursday after they said Brandon Begay took the children from their home in Aneth, Utah.Police said the children were believed to be in danger and their father reportedly made threats of self-harm.Police used cellphone tracking to find the father and children in Colorado.
The Navajo Division of Public Safety has issued an AMBER Alert for two missing babies. Three-month-old Braidin Begay and 16-month-old Bailey Begay are with the suspect, Brandon Begay in a brown over white 2005 Ford F250 extended cab truck with temporary Arizona license plate. Braidin is about a foot tall and weighs about 12 pounds and has short black hair and brown eyes. Bailey is about two feet tall and weighs about 25 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a spaghetti strap shirt and blue jeans. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Brandon or the two kids, call the Navajo Police Department Shiprock District at (505) 368-1350 or call 911.

An Amber Alert was issued Thursday night for two children last seen in southwest Colorado.
The Navajo Police Department issued the alert for 1-year-old Bailey Begay and 3-month-old Braidin Begay.
Police said the children are believed to be with 35-year-old Brandon Begay.
On Friday morning, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation announced that the Amber Alert had been deactivated and that children had been found safe.

DOLORES, Colo. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has canceled an Amber Alert for the Navajo Police Department for two children last seen in southwest Colorado.
CBI said, Friday morning, that the two young children at the center of the alert were located and are safe.
An amber alert for the two was originally issued Thursday evening when the two were believed to be with a 35-year-old man, last seen in a brown over white 2005 Ford F-250 pickup in the Dolores, CO area, Thursday afternoon.
