FALMOUTH – Stephen M. Rose died on March 2, 2021, after celebrating his 81st birthday a few days prior. He was lovingly cared for by the staff at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.He was born in Des Moines, Iowa and with his parents, Sidney and Ann Rose, moved to Cleveland. He married Wilma Webber of Portland in 1961.He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Marjorie Pettinato and her husband Robert Pettinato, Jr. and son, Evan Rose. Stephen is also survived by four grandchildren, Robert III, Emily, Elizabeth, and Alexandra Pettinato, all of whom were adored by their grandfather. He graduated with a B.A from Brandeis University (Waltham, Mass.) in 1961. He later received a master’s of social work from Case Western Reserve University, and a doctorate from Brandeis’s Heller School for Social Policy and Mana ....
