And good monday morning. Our top story this half hour, the extreme weather in the midwest. A number of tornadoes touched down in iowa last evening. This one is in crescent, west of des moines, iowa. Yeah, another one was spotted in eastern michigan. As abcs rob martian knows reports, storms put a tragic end to summer celebrations all around chicago. Reporter a chaotic scene at the perry fest about 25 miles northwest of chicago. It was just hail and rain and just unbelievable wind. Reporter one person was killed and more than a dozen injured after a tent blew away with people inside. Victims carried out on stretchers taken to nearby hospitals. High winds, rain and hail sending debris flying. All of a sudden, you could see the rip in the dome, and it just kind of blew down. Reporter witnesses say the tarp hand landed on several people and rescuers had to cut hoes to get them out. It was the final day. Police say those in attendance were in their 20s, 30s and 40s. Storm briefly shuth down ....
