with a town that has a very large immigrant population. kcci s vanessa peng is live in marshalltown. vanessa, you spoke with some fed-up residents? vanessa: yes, steve, donald trump will be speaking here at the roundhouse gym at marshalltown high school. you can see there is a huge line waiting to get an even though the event starts at 5:00. some of the residents i spoke to today tell me they want trump to skip town. some residents in marshalltown say donald trump isn t welcome in their town. for the last 20 years, marshalltown has seen a huge influx of immigrants looking for work at meat packing plant jbs swift. community leaders say immigrants come from latin, southeast asian, and african countries. and, more than a quarter of marshalltown s population is latino. some residents say they are fed up with trump s anti-immigration rhetoric. this negative rhetoric has really made it more difficult for law enforcement across the country to serve their community. i don t p ....
