The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is pleased to announce its new Smallbore Postal Competition. The event will feature 3-Position and Prone matches, fired from a distance of 50 feet, and is open to both Adult and Junior athletes.
“The CMP has a lot of experience with conducting postal competitions, and with everything going on in the world today, running a smallbore postal seems like a logical step for our program,” said Brad Donoho, CMP smallbore manager. “We’re happy to be able to provide a place for smallbore athletes everywhere to continue their growth on the range.”
Individuals and clubs are welcome to register. Official customized targets will be mailed to participants to be fired upon, then mailed back to the CMP to be verified. Targets may also be scored electronically using the Orion Scoring System. ....
