INDIANAPOLIS A new program has been launched in Marion County to keep kids from heading down the wrong path. It s called The Second Chance Program and gives young people who get into trouble with the law the opportunity to start over.

Worcester reports 107 new COVID cases in past week, 68 vaccine doses to children in the newly eligible 12-15 age range

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Worcester continues to drop as the city has reported 107 infections since last Friday.
That number represents 63 fewer cases than reported in last week’s update of 170 new cases, according to a statement from the office of Worcester City Manager Edward Augustus Jr.
In total, Worcester has seen 23,579 coronavirus cases through the pandemic and 424 residents have died from the virus, which is two more since last week.
There are 35 inpatients with COVID-19 at Saint Vincent Hospital and UMass Memorial Health combined, the city said, a decrease of 17 from last week. There are 15 patients in the intensive care unit, which is one less since Tuesday. ....

Worcester COVID-19 numbers tracking lower; vaccinations expanding to schools next week

WORCESTER COVID-19 case counts in the city continued to fall over the past week, amid increasing vaccination availability, more reopenings and rule relaxations.
The city confirmed 107 more cases of the pandemic virus over the past week for a total of 23,579 since March 2020. That number is down 63 cases from last week, when the city reported 170 new cases.
Hospitalizations saw sharp decreases between St. Vincent Hospital and UMass Memorial Health Care; the two hospital systems reported a total of 35 COVID-19-positive inpatients, down 17 from last week.
There were 15 COVID-19-positive intensive care unit patients, a decrease of one over last week.
The hospital system confirmed another five deaths over last week for a total of 728 since the start of the pandemic. Two more city residents died from the virus, bringing the total in the city to 424. ....
