(Champion) vs. KILLER KHAN -We start off with a house show bout from Oklahoma City Myriad, and presumably this match aired on the OCM Cable Network like all of the house shows there. Khan has the edge early, driving a thumb into the skull from the second rope. TA fights back with punches straight into the throat. -We jump ahead to a lacerated Magnum taking chops and boots right to the forehead wound from Khan. Khan bites the wound, and in hindsight it really is amazing how long that spot survived before everyone finally collectively decided it was a bad idea. ....

JR announces that because the JYD/Butch Reed feud is getting too out of hand, neither man is in the building this week; Mid-South wants them as far apart as possible until they wrestle in a proper match. -We get a video package about Butch Reed, cutting a promo over a training montage. Reed is just on fire, declaring himself the best athlete in the west and declaring JYD a fat, nasty, greasy chicken. “Nature Boy” BUDDY LANDELL vs. MIKE JACKSON -We have a new ring announcer, who couldn’t possibly have stayed long. His name is Murray Franks, and to his credit, he has ENERGY. ....
-Your hosts are Jim Ross and Joel Watts. -We open the show by announcing that Sunshine was recently institutionalized due to the stress caused by her ongoing issues with Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin. Well, two weeks ago, during a Mike Von Erich/Jimmy Garvin match, Garvin’s valet Precious got involved, and we go to footage from WCCW to explain what happened next. -The most electrifying man in the sport, Marc Lowrence, interviews Chris Adams, who explains that Sunshine has an aunt named Stella Mae French, and when Precious got involved in that Garvin/Von Erich match, Stella Mae ran in from the stands and shocked the fans by kicking the shit out of Precious, Jimmy Garvin, AND the referee. Stella Mae is a truck driver by trade who raised Sunshine as a child. Stella Mae cuts a raucous, foul-mouthed promo, like Steve Austin on hormone therapy, and she wants a mixed-tag match with Chris Adams as her partner. ....

BREAKING NEWS: Jim Ross announced during last week’s show that Kerry Von Erich would be wrestling on the program this week. However, last week, in a match you may have heard about, Kerry defeated Ric Flair for the NWA World Title, and as such, he has been required to honor the champion’s commitments, so he’s dropped out of his Mid-South booking. -Joel talks about the Super Date at the Superdome, saying that he knows from experience that there’s no better place to take a date than a wrestling show at the Superdome. They’ve whipped up a whole video package with fancy graphics to lay out the rules and run down what the “prize” is exactly, and it’s kind of funny as the graphic makes it clear that you’re getting a hotel room for ONE person. ....
