To set the stage for this discussion, let me remind you in 1989, 1990 the country was having financial problems. It was drifting into recession it had huge deficit. The Financial Community knew that the United States needed a multiyear budget agreement and it was pretty clear that this was going to be a strong, tough hard battle between the executive branch and the legislative branch. George bush understood this and his message to those us who had to help get this done was go get a budget. There is one person who is not here today passed away but i have to tell you george bush had the benefit in dick darman who understood budgets and process as well as anyone. Also the very strong understanding the Climate Change is not only happening, but have been happening for a long time and i was going to be a clear determining for future disaster risk evolution. It contains what is still one of the most comprehensive timelines of what happened to the democratic party, what happened to her campaign when it came to the russian attack on the 2016 election. There is lots of other things in this book, but that, like 50page summary starts on page 325. Its very, very readable. As i said, i think its one of the best summaries anybodys done anywhere in terms of what happened with the russian attack. It is highly readable, highly recommended. This came out last year.
