Some 50 Million People are in its path. The super storm is expected to combine with a winter storm moving in from the east and cold air streaming down from the arctic. Sandy is huge. More than 500 miles across. The monster storm is a category 1 hurricane with sustained winds of 75 miles per hour. Reporter sandy continues to move up the eastern seaboard, beginning to make a little bit of a turn towards the left. This was expected. It is certainly maintaining its intensity.
