[laughter] very upset by this and might use it as an opportunity to start to peel away again. the national party did very well in yesterday s elections you are right they may want to peel off. they want a second referendum but boris doesn t want to give it to them. steve: there could be a deal with the u.k. which is great. also yesterday the stock market went up a couple hundred points it, sounds like we are close to phase one with a deal to china. what does it mean. close to guy. vote. [laughter] the president s past behavior is any indicator. the closer we goat to impeachment closer to a china deal. nothing can be boring. all the signs point to money and both countries want the money. it just depends how far china is willing to go with intellectual property theft. what s interesting with the stock market. i know a lot of have you investments. how many of have you 401(k)s? right? we are at record highs for the s&p 500. which is really the broadest
uk out of the eu. he said just today in the uk his justice minister his foreign minister has gone on tv to say, well, it s a bad law. we ll look at it and decide whether we need to implement it how to follow it. and the former director of public prosecutions in the uk said if boris doesn t follow the law, he could be arrested. i think that s highly unlikely. the idea we re talking about a conservative prime minister being arrest forwaed for defyin law. we re in real crazy town in the uk and in the u.s. where does this end? can boris johnson get away with what donald trump can get away with which is they don t have a constitution in britain. it s a different system. can he get away with it? and where does this end? god knows where it ends, but i think that, in fact, boris johnson will end up with a very short term as prime minister. everything is going to come crashing in on this in october as the deadline, as the halloween deadline approaches.

to rethink how he approaches the congress, based on this outcome. because it was so totally utterly unacceptable. at the same time, i think paul ryan is on auto real turning point. ryan is a very smart guy. nobody should take that away from him. and he knows an immense amount about policy. he has got to decide in the world of trump, where you re doing really bold, really different things, is he willing to spend the time and the energy listening to everybody, even when he doesn t agree with them, doesn t think they make any sense? because only by we used to use a model of listen, learn, help and lead. and only by doing this. and you have talked about it some. only by getting everybody in the dialogue, do have you a chance of ultimately getting to a majority. i think this was an example that starting at the top trying to run it through the system, is not going to work. it didn t work for boehner. and i don t think it s going to work for ryan.
