This is getting stuck is you have High Pressure to the north. A really expansive high. This acts as a wall so hermine cannot bust through that high so it essentially slows down, stalls and gets stuck off of our coastline and that is why youre going have a continuous flow around that low and the high to the north to pound the jersey shore as well as the delaware beaches. So, Tropical Storm warnings are in effect for pretty much all the way from georgia the carolinas and into virginia. At this point were still under a Tropical Storm watch meaning the potential is there for Tropical Storm conditions all the way up through long island but more than likely in our area this is either going to be put to a warning within an hour or even a hurricane watch.
