On Friday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Brisbane for Official Travel to the Scenic Rim Region.

Following, at Boonah Hospital, Boonah, Her Excellency toured the hospital and met with staff.

Following, at Boonah Cultural Centre, Boonah, Her Excellency received a briefing from Scenic Rim Regional Council representatives.

In the afternoon, at Boonah State School, Her Excellency visited the school, read a book to students, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Beaudesert Hospital, Beaudesert, Her Excellency toured the hospital and met with staff.

Following, at The Centre, Beaudesert, Her Excellency hosted an afternoon tea in support of the Scenic Rim community, and the Governor addressed guests. At the conclusion of the afternoon tea, Her Excellency was interviewed by the Beaudesert Times Senior Journalist, Ms Larraine Sathicq.
