A number of pha phra ves or painted Vessantara Jataka scrolls will be exhibited for one day only at Siam Society, Asok Road, on Saturday from 1.30pm to 4pm.
Held in collaboration with the Thai Textile Society, this unique event is a rare chance to witness the long painted banners featuring the story of Vessantara Jataka, from the private collection of ML Pawinee (Sukhasvasti) Santisiri, an award-winning designer with a passion for antique textiles. ....
