MAY is a great month to spot the tiny planet Mercury in the sky.
All you ll need is some binoculars or a telescope and to be in the right spot after sunset.

That includes stargazers in the UK and the US.
You ll need to look west-northwest around 30 minutes after sunset.
A great date to do this is on May 13 because Mercury will be around for 135 minutes after sunset.

SHOCKED scuba divers have found a huge 50 pound mammoth bone in a Florida river.
The two men were diving in the Peace River when they made the Ice Age discovery.

Derek Demeter and Henry Sadler found the ancient bone which stands at four foot high.
Demeter, Seminole State Planetarium s director, told FOX 35 Orlando: Henry is my dive buddy.
He yelled out to me, said, Hey, Derek. I found something!  Oh my goodness! It was really, really cool.
The divers think the bone belonged to to a Columbian mammoth. ....

FACEBOOK was struck by an hours-long outage on Friday, with frustrated users reporting that the app and website stopped working.
Thousands of people across the globe logged issues with the platform on the independent website DownDetector.

SCIENTISTS hunting for aliens on the Red Planet may find them hiding within newly discovered pockets in Martian soil.
The cavities of air could act as tiny reactors that promote the emergence of microscopic life, according to research.

Experts discovered the pockets while examining billion-year-old pieces of Martian meteorite stored in a French museum.
They say their findings suggest that life may have existed on Mars far later than previous estimates – and it s possible microbes still live there today.
Such niches for emerging life may have been generated on Mars at many periods throughout its history, experts write in the journal Astrobiology. ....
