First we have marion graham, a native of georgia, the University Distinguished professor ofhe english at the university of kansas and founding director of the history of black writing which she established at the university of mississippi and 1983. The history of black writing has led national and International Initiatives to promote research, teaching and Public Engagement with literary studies with the National Endowment for humanity. The author of 12 books that redefined the field especially
