His death marks the end of an ordeal that began more than ten years ago and came to a climax bag in may when his victims escaped his cleveland home. Castro spared himself the Death Penalty by pleading guilty to more than 900 counts, including rape and kidnapping, but he spent less than four months in captivity before dying.
