A short clip showing a heroic cop diving into a freezing lake to rescue a golden retriever has been widely circulated on social media.
The heartwrenching video shows the canine whimpering desperately in the freezing lake while two police officers run to its aid before.
The poor dog desperately clings to the sides of the frozen lake, crying and shivering in the cold water. Fortunately, the cops reached him in time and the dog was helped out of the lake and taken for a checkup
