Scores of Boko Haram fighters have reportedly been killed by Chadian troops during a fresh clash somewhere between Marte and Lokobadu area in Chad. Zagazola Makama, a counterinsurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Thursday. In his post, Zagazola said that the terrorists earlier attacked some local fishermen and seized their boats in the axis of Marte and this was what led to the gun battle between them and the Chadian security forces.
