the next president is likely to have two new supreme court nominees. two more. he already has appointed two that have been very negative in terms of the rights of individuals. the supreme court has never been as out of kilter as it is today. i mean, never. i have taught constitutional law for nine years. this guy knows more about it then most. the fact of the matter is, there has never been a court this far out of step. joining us to discuss is our and missy legal analyst. we have a host of the justice matters podcast. welcome you with a happy father s day. you too. glenn, were you surprised by these comments from president biden? he is pretty forward leaning but he is calling it the way not only he sees it but i think the way most americans see it. we seem to have a supreme court, at least a block of justices, who are not honest brokers of the law. i knew we would talk about the supreme court. one thing i want to remind myself of from the washington post reporting
that conviction against derek chauvin. and it was at that moment, chauvin was entitled to his appeals and the like, but it didn t, in a sense, it didn t matter. you had a jury of peers saying this guy did it. so, that s why, i think the trial date is so significant. i agree with bradley that may is a pretty, you know, it looks like it can work as long as the proof is in the pudding. that is, if judge cannon tries to delay the trial passed may, based on some bogus motion of donald trump, if she doesn t do that, may is appropriate. the one other thing that s interesting about this, you know, donald trump s lawyers may have made a move that backfired because now, december is actually a clean trial date. and there is another prosecution or maybe two that are heading to towards donald trump right now, jack smith s federal prosecution about january 6th as well as the georgia prosecution about finding the 11,780 votes. now, the december calendar is
