The Creel family celebrated a wonderful New Year's gift when Mary Elizabeth Creel was born Dec. 30, 2022. She weighed seven pounds, two ounces, and was 19.5 inches long. She is the second child for Stephanie Nicole Creel, known as Nikki, and Bobby S. Creel III, known as Tripp, who live in Crozier, VA. The new baby joins big brother Parker, who is three-and-a-half years old.
The Southeast Produce Council has named Faye Westfall, a longtime member of the fresh produce industry who has been directly involved with the council since its earliest days, to the SEPC board of governors.
With its headquarters in Raleigh, NC, and farms in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, L&M’s roots run deep in the Southeast.
North Carolina, however, holds a special place in the heart of L&M, as it was founded in 1964 by Joe McGee in the state, and has always valued its grower partnerships throughout the state.
