a, they re healthy, b they re active, c, they feel young and at this point in their life the kids are settled. they can start taking care of themselves a little more. reporter: last year there were nearly 85,000 surgical procedures among those 65 and over. most of those were facelifts, eyelid operations, liposuction, breast reductions, breast lifts and augmentations. one of the things that surprises me is i have done more first-time breast augmentations on women in their 70s than i ever would have dreamt. reporter: bobbi considers it part of her maintenance plan. when you are taking care of yourself physically, i might add that it does help you mentally. it s all part of a total picture. reporter: but is it dangerous for seniors? with any elective surgery, there
