(KAIT) - A Blytheville police officer crashed his cruiser while responding to a convenience store shooting. It happened Monday afternoon at the intersection of Ruddle and Main. Chief Ross Thompson said the officer, who he did not identify, was responding to a shooting at the Dodge Store on South Division Street when the crash occurred. No one was injured in the crash, and Arkansas State Police are investigating. As for the shooting, Thompson said the victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. He did not provide any other details.
