Actors Theatre of Little Rock and Henderson State University are collaboratively staging "As You Like It," director Mark A. Burbank s adaptation of William Shakespeare s comedy, today-Sunday in the 150-seat Studio Theatre in Arkansas Hall at HSU in Arkadelphia.
The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas April events will include A Cabaret Event, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Jazz Ensemble and volunteer night among other programs.
The Music Education Initiative, in partnership with the Pine Bluff Advertising and Promotion Commission and the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, will announce two upcoming exhibits, A Cast of Blues and Freedom & Blues, at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Loft Gallery at The ARTSpace, 623 S. Main St., according to a news release.
Discover Our Delta Celebration will highlight the area’s rich history and achievements in music, theater, art and literary works in downtown Pine Bluff on Friday and Saturday featuring Hollywood actress Phyllis Yvonne Stickney, legendary Bluesman and Grammy winner Bobby Rush, and documentary on Tail Dragger all with Jefferson County ties.
