From the Tribune staff reports BLOUNT COUNTY Law enforcement officials said Cody Vaughn was arrested on Sunday in connection to burglary in Blount County. According to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, Feb. 28, dispatch received a call about a burglary in progress at an address on Berry Mountain. “Deputies responded to the address and were told by the victim that an unknown male had entered the residence through the front door and exited through a side door and believed to have taken multiple items from the house including a firearm,” the department said in a statement via social media. “When deputies arrived they were able to locate a male matching the description given by the victim behind an abandoned residence nearby. The suspect had a firearm in his possession and was ordered multiple times to drop the weapon.” ....
