Rosenberg) A cadre of local Black-owned businesses has teamed up to create exclusive food products and fashion merch for purchase via Doordash at a contactless pop-up drive-in movie event on March 26, 27 and 28 at Hollywood Park. In the mix are Blondie Beach Records, Neighbors Skate Shop, streetwear labels the Hundreds, Carrots by Anwar Carrots, Wckdthghts, Bricks & Wood and Total Luxury Spa; food brands Jah Mamah Sauce and Harun Coffee; and restaurants Simply Wholesome, Dulan’s Soul Food Kitchen, Ackee Bamboo, Hotville Chicken and the Serving Spoon, a favorite of Zendaya. A new outdoor space is coming to Inglewood. The place will be located on the grounds of the all-new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and the surrounding Hollywood Park, The Lot. The Press Enterprise reports that for three nights from March 26-28, Family Style and Blondie Beach Records will bring a Drive-Thru Theater to The Lot at Hollywood Park. The event includes the premiere of Mikey Alfred’s “North Hollywood” and a screening of “Jurassic Park,” along with a line-up of local Black-owned businesses on hand serving food and selling merchandise and designs.
