Vigil held in West Sacramento for parents killed in crash © Provided by KCRA Sacramento Vigil in West Sacramento Dozens of friends and family held the vigil for Rasul and Anila Afzili near the site where they died.Sign up for our Newsletters The couple was driving home with their two children on Jefferson Boulevard and Locks Drive when their SUV was involved in a crash with a truck, just two lights away from their home. The children both survived the crash. On Friday night, Rasul s brother thanked the community for supporting them. “They lost some parents, but what I’ve learned from this whole situation they’ve gained hundreds of parents, hundreds of uncles, hundreds of aunts. I lost a brother and a sister-in-law but I gained, after this whole situation, hundreds of brothers. So many people reached out to me,” said Qaseem Afzili.
