StarHub and BLKJ part ways, new creative pitch called Details 25 February 2021 StarHub has called for a creative pitch for the Singapore market and has invited incumbent BLKJ to pitch for the account. However, BLKJ is at this point choosing not to participate in the pitch, confirmed Rowena Bhagchandani, CEO of the agency. In a statement to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Bhagchandani said: We thank StarHub for a long and mutually fruitful relationship and for the invitation to pitch. Details 16 February 2021 Vivendi-owned Havas Group has acquired Singapore-born independent agency BLKJ to create BLKJ Havas - an agency whose stated ambition is to create un-advertising out of Singapore from regional and global brands. BLKJ was founded four years ago by former DDB talent Rowena Bhagchandani, and creative partners Khalid Osman, Lester Lee, and Joji Jacob. The agency has over the years prided itself in what it calls “un-advertising - work that didn’t walk, talk, or could be pigeon-holed as mere advertising”. RSAF takes to the skies with new creative agency Details 21 January 2021 The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) has shifted its creative account from long-term creative partner DDB Singapore to BLKJ. The appointment came following a pitch which concluded in December and is slated to be for a period of three years. BLKJ is tasked to drive RSAF s recruitment efforts by developing fully integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital and on-ground platforms.
