Friends, colleagues remember longtime law enforcement officer killed in crash

CALDWELL, TX — Funeral services have been arranged for a Blinn College police officer who lost his life earlier this month following a major collision in west Brazos County.
The officer, 46-year-old Christopher Luttrell of Caldwell, had been traveling in a personal vehicle along Texas State 21 on December 17, when a tire on Luttrell’s car burst, causing the vehicle to lose control and collide with an oncoming delivery truck.
The officer leaves behind a legacy of meaningful service with Blinn College law enforcement, as well as the Caldwell Police Department and Burleson County Sheriff’s Office. ....
