The most affordable Chevrolet Blazer has been axed.
The Chevrolet Blazer returned to the market back in 2019. While not the serious off-roader we were hoping for, its attractive styling, sporty handling, and stellar safety tech continue to impress. Since it went on sale, there haven t been any major changes. For the 2022 model year, however, Chevrolet has removed the base L trim from the lineup, meaning its naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four is no longer available.
Rated at 193 hp and 188 lb-ft, this unit was underpowered so we doubt it was very popular. As a result, the 2LT is now the base trim and comes packing a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four generating 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.
