‘Quaker Tank’ returns as WC’s version of TV’s ‘Shark Tank’

WILMINGTON The presence of dozens of students displaying their research via posters and other presentation media Saturday transformed the normally athletics-oriented Fred Raizk Arena in Hermann Court into a strictly academic setting at Wilmington College’s 10th Annual Student Research Forum.
The research projects spanned across academic disciplines as faculty, staff and students took time out from the weekend prior to the start of final exams to peruse the presentations and learn first-hand from student researchers. ....

WILMINGTON Some 279 members of Wilmington College’s Class of 2021 will be recognized for their accomplishments with two in-person commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 8 as the culmination of their WC living and learning experience rapidly approaches.
In order to accommodate physical distancing and other state-issued, pandemic-related regulations for large gatherings, students graduating with a Bachelor of Science will attend a 10 a.m. ceremony while those receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree will attend a 3 p.m. ceremony. ....
