very heavy rain. a couple minutes ago we weren t able to see that far ahead of us because of the rain. we re just to the north of the strongest part of the storm. i mentioned just north of high sholes, very heavy rain and strong winds. it s moving very fast. the storm is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 12:45, it s moving at 60 to 70 miles per hour. so it will be here and gone but we had to really slow down our speed, both hands on the wheel because of the winds that were so strong. we ve been hearing reports of downed power lines and trees. we re likely going to see some of those throughout areas of lincoln and gaston county with these strong thunderstorms. we re getting near the lincolnton area, light rain still continuing here in storm cam. still some very dark ominous clouds ahead of us. they re moving very fast here this afternoon. we dealt with the heavy rain. and we ve seen some lightning. so these storms are very strong and powerful. they ll be moving very fa
