Archeologist Jonathan Fowler is using ground-penetrating radar to search for historic evidence of the massive wall that surrounded Halifax more than 250 years ago.
A number of businesses and restaurants are still closed and so are schools, however there are signs of hustle and bustle returning to the Halifax Regional Municipality two days after Fiona.
According to historian Blair Beed, more than 130 years ago in the Victorian era of the 1880 s and 1890 s, it was a busy time for Halifax during the boom of the industrial age.
