A woman was ambushed and sexually assaulted in her own backyard.Two suspects are on the run tonight. The crime happened near southwest 44th and Blackwelder.Police said the woman walked out to her backyard to let her dog out when someone approached her from behind. “She was confronted by two individuals. She does not know these individuals,” said Oklahoma City Police Department spokesman Sgt. Dillon Quirk. The terrifying encounter happened in broad daylight Wednesday morning. According to the police report, one of the men told her, “If you look at me, I’ll shoot. If you scream, I’ll shoot.”The woman looked down to see one suspect was wearing dark jeans and dark-colored clothes. That s really the extent of what she could give investigators,” Quirk said.
