A North Linden man was identified Friday as the person found fatally shot and left off the side of the road Wednesday on the city s Southeast Side.
Romeo Kendrick, 20, was found unresponsive around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in a largely wooded area off the west side of the 3400 block of Brice Road. The area where Kendrick was found is near a grass access road to the Blacklick Creek Greenway, north of Blacklick Creek and across Brice Road from The Moors apartment complex.
Police and medics responding to a 911 calls pronounced Kendrick dead at the scene. His death is the 71st homicide committed in Columbus this year.  ....
