specifically in atlanta, as trump launches his black voices for trump coalition, marking his latest attempt to reach out to black voters ahead of 2020. that may prove to be an uphill battle. approval rating with black voters hovers around 10% released just last month. la tasha brown, founder of black vetters matter fund and political consultant and contributor to the hill. let me start with you in atlanta. that s where the president went to launch this effort. what s your reaction to why he would try this, at this point, when he s polling 10%. you know, part of the reason trump came to atlanta, that talks about his desperation, that ultimately when you look at the numbers that are looming, that he s losing support because this impeachment is looming and i think he came to atlanta because that is a sign of his desperation.
