Man charged following Frankston intercept Officers stopped the Black Mazda BT50 on Bondi Avenue and spoke with the 30-year-old driver about 7.30pm. A search of the man’s vehicle located a taser, quantity of drugs and cash. Police have since executed a search warrant at a residential property on Screen Street, Frankston. During the search of the premises, officers located a number of items including: Three handguns (one loaded); Fireworks and; A number of edged weapons. A two vehicle collision in Greater Napanee ended with impairment charges. Last Friday evening, officers with Lennox and Addington County OPP responded to the report on County Road 9. An investigation revealed that a Green Mazda vehicle lost control and collided with a Black Mazda vehicle on County Road 9, just south of Township Road 9 in Greater Napanee. Police determined that the driver of the Green Mazda was showing signs of impairment. An Approved Screening Device was administered and the driver was subsequently arrested and transported to detachment for processing. One driver suffered minor injuries. As a result of the investigation L&A County OPP have charged a 23-year-old from Stone Mills Township with operation while impaired and operating a motor vehicle while over legal blood alcohol limit. ....
