The U.S. House of Representatives is working to pass a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package later today, but they are running into a few obstacles along the way. Most recently, Rep.
Marjorie Taylor Greene attempted to delay a vote on the latest relief package. While unsuccessful, she did push the work of House back nearly 45 minutes.
I just made a motion to adjourn to stop Congress from passing the $1.9 trillion dollar massive woke progressive Democrat wish list. The GOP has messaged against this ridiculous bill, she tweeted shortly after attempting to scrap the vote altogether.
This is not the first time that Greene has attempted to delay the vote. Previously, she motioned to adjourn the House from passing the COVID-19 relief package. Her motion to adjourn was denied by 18 Republicans and the bill was passed through the House. This time around, an overwhelming number of Democrats and 40 Republicans denied her motion to adjourn ....
