Man shot dead at Benue market
Terrorists have killed 21 persons in Igabi and Kajuru local councils of Kaduna State. However, the military also caused havoc on the side of the bandits by air raid, which neutralised the gunmen in their camps.
In an update on the security situation in Kaduna yesterday, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, stated: “In Igabi local council, armed bandits barricaded the Birnin Yero-Tami road and killed one Hussaini Dari. One Dahiru Saidu was left injured, and is now receiving treatment in a hospital.
“At Gwada village in Igabi, an attack by gunmen left Yahuza Sale and Garba Sule dead. In another incident, armed bandits invaded Ungwan Kure, and killed two others. They also attacked Amawan Dadi Rugan Jauru settlements. A resident identified simply as Likita was shot dead.”

Again, some bandits in separate attacks, raided communities in two local government areas of Igabi and Kauru of Kaduna State, killing six persons and injured one.
The PUNCH gathered that the gunmen in large numbers barricaded the Birnin-Yero Tami road, where they unleashed terror on travellers.
During the raid, they killed one person and injured another person.
The bandits, who were said to be on rampage, killed others in other locations in the state.
The attacks happened between Monday night and the early hours of Tuesday.
The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the attacks in a statement on Tuesday.
A statement by the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said that in Igabi, armed bandits barricaded the Birnin Yero-Tami road and killed one Hussaini Suleiman Dari while one Dahiru Saidu was left injured and is now receiving treatment in a hospital.
Aruwan said an attack by gunmen left two persons, Yahuza Sale and Garba Sule, dead in Gwada village; while armed bandits had also invaded Ungwan Kure and killed two residents, Mohammed Sani Suleiman and Yahuza Sale in the same Igabi LGA.
“Similarly, armed bandits attacked Amawan Dadi Rugan Jauru settlements in Kauru local government area and one resident known simply as ‘Likita’ was shot dead. Governor Nasir El-Rufai noted the reports with sadness, and sent his condolences to the families of those killed, while praying for the repose of their souls,” he said.
