driver at gunpoint and fled to new jersey where he was tracked to a home in trenton but somehow managed to slip out of the home but was eventually apprehended nearby. joining me now nbc news correspondent george solis on the scene in trenton, new jersey. george, what can you tell us now? that the suspect has been apprehended. reporter: yeah, learned about this within the last 20 minutes that this individual, this 26-year-old accused of killing three of his family members somehow managed to slip by the s.w.a.t. presence here and not to mention state police and fbi agents who had a presence here and was apprehended. without incident we re told basically give up and is now in police custody. however, whether or not he was apprehended with any weapons that he may have had at him at the time of his surrendering. now what we re seeing is report of the dismantling of the scene. there s still the police presence and police tape here and we have seen some of the officers actually in
