Join the Town of Binghamton on May 27th for the annual Memorial Day Parade, honoring local heroes. Starting at 10:00 a.m., the parade will wind through the town, culminating at the cemetery. Don't miss this opportunity to pay tribute to our history.
Monday is Memorial Day and here are some things we can do to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Fly your US Flag at half-staff until noon on Monday. You can also fly the POW/MIA Flag (Section 1082 of the 1998 Defense Authorization Act.)
Take the time on Monday and visit your local cemeteries and place flags or flowers on the graves of our fallen heroes. You can participate in a National Moment of Remembrance at 3 p.m., where you take a moment, pause, and think about the true meaning of the day and then play Taps.
