PETALING JAYA: The legal fraternity will be casting a keen eye over how the Federal Court addresses issues of conflict of interests affecting two judges who presided over Najib Razak’s SRC International corruption trial and appeal.
The defence in Datuk Seri Najib Razak's SRC International Sdn Bhd case has pointed out that High Court judge Datuk Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali had a role in the events linked to the charges the former premier is facing, and hence he is deemed to have a conflict of interest when presiding over the trial.
KUALA LUMPUR: Claiming that there was a conflict of interest in his conviction and sentencing, Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his legal team have filed an application to give additional evidence in a bid to nullify the High Court trial in the SRC International Sdn Bhd case.
