Reporter sandra, and joe, three months later, police have finally made an arrest in a Fatal Shooting that broke so many hearts here in hempstead, long island. Tonight for the first time, we hear from the victims family. 12yearold dejah joyner was a beautiful little girl who was doing the right thing in the right place at the right time, yet tragedy found her. She had just made sandwiches after school and was serving her brother his plate when a bullet came flying through her living room window striking the innocent child in the head. Dejah was pronounced dead at the hospital. It happened last october here on the 200 block of dartmouth street in hempstead, long island. Three months later an arrest has been made. 20yearold jaquan keller was arrest today. Detectives believe he is family with a bullet meant for someone else. Dejahs grandfather, and great grandmother responded to the arrest and spoke to us
