LACONIA, N.H. Six people on New Hampshire s lakes fell through the ice over the weekend, and now Fish and Game is warning that the ice may not be as safe as it looks.
All six people were able to get out of the water safely, on their own, after falling through, but it’s a dangerous reminder that even though lakes and ponds are frozen over, the ice thickness can vary greatly. ....

CONCORD,NH - NH Fish and Game responded to a snowmobile accident Monday in Rumney at Route 25 and Sandhill Road.
Sharon Nelson, 59 of Dorchester, NH had been riding a snowmobile behind a friend when she attempted to cross Route 25 according to Fish and Game Office Gregory Jellison. She misjudged the trail and drove off the end of a large culvert, landing on an ice-covered brook according to Jellison. ....
