Here. first of all what this said was the problem with deep-water drilling. they said that the ensuing oil spill could have been prevented. they ve name three companies they re clearly focused on. the first, of course, bp getting all the attention, and then two companies that you may not know were involved in this. the transocean, they owned the reagan. and halliburton, they cemented the well. the big question that this brings up that they focused on, did these companies ignore safety precautions in order to gain profit? i want to read you a report from this. it s rather damning. it says whether purposeful or not, many of the decisions that bp, halliburton and transocean made that increased the risk of macondo blowout clearly saved those companies significant time and money. bp is saying they re cooperating ....
