1 new boil order enacted, 4 dropped from list, 4 others remain

One new area precautionary boil order was issued late Friday by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH). According to the ADH website, the entire Sylamore Valley Water Association in Stone County was placed on the boil order list due to a main break. Earlier Friday, four area precautionary boil orders put in place by the ADH this month were lifted. According to the website, orders have been lifted for Briarcliff Waterworks and Big Flat Waterworks in Baxter County, Mockingbird Hill Water Association in Newton County and Omaha Waterworks in Boone County. A boil order remains in place for the entire Krooked Kreek Water Association in Boone County, added Tuesday morning following a power failure.
