This is why this fan will be stepping back for a little while. I have no confidence that I will be able to name the 2021 Rockies. I am not a fan of the name Rockies. I am not a fan of Coors Field (although I enjoy the place). I am a fan of the players. It started during the inaugural year and intensified with the Blake Street Bombers when I was a teenager. Guess what happened when that quad got split. My time and money spent on the Rockies went to near zip. A trade to the Giants, Reds & Tampa Bay got rid of Burks, Bichette & Castilla within 9 months, dismantling the hope for a competitive team. Here s to hoping that I can name a whole lot of the 2021 Rockies, but I m not holding my breath.
